The aim of the Society is to increase the recognition of Leith Links as the home of the earliest recorded rules of golf and one of the game's prominent early locations

Home Membership Current events Recent events Other events The original rules Leith golf history Links Contact Us		Public Golf (6 - 10 June 2005) A steady flow of players during the week took the opportunity to play on our famous stretch of ground on Leith Links. Whilst some lived only a good niblick shot from the Links others came from as far afield as Canada and China ! Our oldest player was Jean Anderson who played a short way round with her son - Jean is 93 years young and showed no signs of "first tee nerves" to knock an excellent shot down the middle of the 1st fairway !
