Opening 2004
(8th/9th July 2004)
For the
payment of a very modest green fee, anyone was again able to play a round of golf
on the 5-hole course laid out on the historic golfing site of Leith
Links.
There were perhaps fewer players than in previous years, but they did come
from both the local Leith community and much further afield.
What
someone said in 2003 was equally relevant to 2004 - "I had not used clubs like these since I was a young lad; you quickly
realise how different these clubs are to the clubs of today, but what
great fun !"
