Public Opening 2003

Our week in July was blessed with superb weather and many people took advantage to play the 5-hole course with hickory clubs and balls from bygone days.

Some were regular golfers, the modern advantages of soft-spiked shoes and gloves making an interesting contrast with the clubs they were using ! But there were also those who were trying golf for the very first time, which was a particular delight to the Society.
