		Anniversary celebration 7th March is always a famous date in our society calendar, being the day in 1744 when the first rules were signed. This year we celebrated with lunch in Leith Lynx restaurant, after which our guest speaker, David Purdie, entertained us with tales of "The Gowff" [more] Merchants Golf Course We now have a connection with The Merchants and we hope to take up an invitation to use the club's facilities.		Statue of John Rattray Now that we are the proud owners of a Maquette of the statue by David Annand, a special sub-committee has been formed to take forward the funding of the full-size statue.
